1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how EZhog handles information when people visit the website, use a free AI tool, create or use an account, build forms or assessments, submit responses, upload content, or contact the team.
The policy covers the business form platform and public research, quiz-generation, and subject-solver tools.
2. Information that may be handled
Account and contact information, such as a name, work email, organization, authentication details, and support correspondence.
Workspace content, including form definitions, questions, logic, branding, responses, assessment results, and files submitted through a workflow.
Free-tool content, such as prompts, pasted text, uploaded source material, generated questions, and generated answers, where a selected tool processes that information.
Service and device information, such as browser type, IP address, timestamps, feature activity, diagnostic events, and security logs.
Billing and commercial information provided during a purchase or procurement process. Payment-card information should be handled by the applicable payment provider, not entered into a public contact form.
3. Why information is used
Information may be used to provide and secure the service, operate accounts and workspaces, process free-tool inputs, forms, and responses, deliver support, administer billing, troubleshoot problems, prevent misuse, and improve product reliability.
Where required, EZhog relies on an applicable contractual, consent, legitimate-interest, or legal basis. The exact basis can depend on the customer relationship and jurisdiction.
For business response workflows, the customer typically decides why respondent information is collected and acts as the controller or business; EZhog processes that information to provide the service under the applicable agreement.
4. Service providers and disclosure
Providers may process information when needed for hosting, authentication, analytics, communications, payments, support, infrastructure, or other service operations.
A current subprocessor and hosting summary can be requested through [email protected].
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a documented corporate transaction.
5. Retention and deletion
Information is retained while an account or customer relationship is active and for as long as needed to provide the service, meet agreed requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, and satisfy legal obligations.
Account owners and authorized users may request access, correction, export, or deletion through [email protected]. Some information may remain for a limited period in backups, security records, billing records, or where retention is legally required.
Retention periods can vary by data type, account status, legal requirements, backup lifecycle, product settings, and any applicable customer agreement.
6. Security
EZhog uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Current control, hosting, backup, and incident-response details can be requested through [email protected]. See the Security page for the public review process.
7. Cookies and analytics
Essential storage is used for functions such as consent choices, authentication, preferences, and security. These functions cannot always be disabled without affecting the requested website or account experience.
Analytics and marketing categories remain disabled on this website until a visitor makes an affirmative choice. The consent panel does not use preselected optional categories.
Visitors can accept all categories, reject non-essential categories, or choose categories individually. The choice is stored in a first-party consent record so the website can remember it.
Cookie settings can be reopened from the footer at any time to change or withdraw a choice. Browser controls can also remove stored website data.
8. International processing
Information may be processed in countries other than the user's location when service providers or team members operate there.
The applicable customer agreement and provider arrangements should define required safeguards where cross-border transfer rules apply.
9. Rights and choices
Depending on location, a person may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information. Requests can be sent to [email protected].
People in some US states may also have rights to know, correct, delete, or obtain personal information and to opt out of certain sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising uses where those activities and laws apply.
EZhog may need to verify identity and authority before completing a request, especially for workspace or respondent data controlled by a business customer.
10. Children's data
Users and customers are responsible for meeting age, consent, and notice requirements that apply to their location and intended audience, including any requirements for a parent, guardian, school, or organization.
11. Changes
This policy may be updated as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date and revised text will be published on this page.
12. Contact
Privacy and data requests should be sent to [email protected].
